Sorry Paul but London isn't at all like you're making it out to be, I say this from living there for three years and from living about half an hour's drive away currently. So many cities have crime and homelessness, many areas of London are in fact rather pleasant. And in a big city that has about 8 million people, it's to be expected that there will be some rough areas. Although from time spent living in, visiting and passing through London, I haven't experienced much, if any of what you described tbh.
