Someone told me that I need to make a website for my clan. I'm not sure how to make one so could someone please tell me how.

There are many websites that help you build forums. To start off you can try forumotion, freeforums, and many others.
I suggest you stay within these forum-type websites and stay away from websites like blogspot or wordpress, they don't work so well for clans. Other than that, you can get many more options by simply googling.

Since Murmer suggested taking an example from other clans, it is important to note that actually taking content or copying things will earn you a lot of disrespect from the other clans.

Yes, of-course that is a given, i mean the layouts, if you look they are all quite similar, i dont mean actually copying them

Also, it would be wise to do it yourself, as opposed to having one help you set one up.

Totally agreed, although making a website may seem a way more complex mess than you ever thought, but only when you see how a website works. Actually, a website page is a piece of code with "coordinates" for files and functions, all those stored in the domain. The page only tells your web browser those "coordinates" so that your browser can download and place the files and functions on their locations, and to make a website out of that, you have to be a very good PHP or HTML coder, I suppose. I made a new website for my clan with RV Site Builder from x10 Hosting, which I found quite useful. Isn't a pro site builder, but pleases my needs.
Try finding a good web host like Go Daddy or x10Hosting, then get a good site builder so you can build your website without much trouble. And for the theme? Think on it's colors and design on how it would fit for your clan, not for you. That's one of the keys to build a website for a clan - think on it as your clan's "mask", so that your website can speak a little about your clan, and the theme is essential.
