This is a careless mod that someone made, basically going against everything AC tried for. It doesn't pay respect to licensing, nor the AC devs wishes.

Keep in mind that such mods are not uncommon in the open source world. It is more punishment to be deemed as "that guy" rather than trying to take serious legal actions against him/them/w/e.

I honestly think they tried to make AC into something that it isn't, it was simple in the beginning, and that has not changed. Apparently that isn't enough for some people. :P

I was thinking it looked a lot more like MW2, with the look of the sniper rifle, the perks, and the blood on the screen. But it looks a lot like CA as well.

I like the version I'm playing, and that these forums promote. :3 (...the original)

It doesn't just look like it. Idk about the weapons, but he said himself that the on-screen blood and some of the icons were taken from MW2. Maybe they will sue him :/
