I run AC with everything to the max (water reflection etc) and i often get this bug on the water.

Does it work fine with water reflection off?

Also try other water-rendering settings to see if one of them is problematic.

IIRC that's the HUD reflecting in the water, but don't ask me why that happens.

What the hell are them insects? its a texture. i think i seen one in desert.

There is a very small insect mapmodel in ac_egypt, try to find it ;)

I get this too, although it happens when the water is at my eye level.
