I recently went to connect to assaultcube IRC, and i noticed i have been banned. I don't know when this occured (though it was sometime today), and i certainly didn't do anything worth banning over. In fact, i have hardly ever said anything on #assaultcube irc.
can somebody tell me what happened? because i don't remember it.

Using Webchat has been banned because of a spammer. I expect that the ops will decide to lift this soon.

Yes. But it isn't hard to evade IRC bans. Unless they ban your country, isp, or client.
