Maybe tell us what you have done/trying to do before/when this happen.

I tried to get a new start screen which i deleted the old one and put in the new one and when i launched AC is came up missing content so renamed the screen i wanted as notexture.jpg and it didn't work.

Did you try running AC from the parent directory like the messages says?

Is the assaultcube.bat file in the same folder as the AssaultCube home?
In other words, can you access the "packages" folder in the same folder as assaultcube.bat?

Maybe notexture.jpg accidentally got deleted?

Thanks V-man that was my problem, I don't know how it happened but it doesn't matter now.
