I'm ready to play Assault Cube with my friends. How do I connect to an online server and how do I find my friends?

press escape. then click multiplayer, then click join a server

After I click join a server I get presented with a lot of options such as PING and stuff. And it says Im offline.

That's how the servers are sorted. Scroll down the list and find one you like, then click it. Make sure your firewall isn't blocking AC.
