it should still automaticly tell u if there are any updates when u start,

from 1.1.0.3, it tells you everybody you try to contact the ms (to get a server list)

In 1.1.0.3, your client informs you (when it contacts the Master Server) whether your version is the current one. If not, it tells you to update.
