Hi,
i recently got into AssaultCube again and started mapping just for fun. I made this map ac_short, which is a small 2v2 ctf map. I think it feels quite slow, which is a thing i like. It was quite fun to play with a few friends. It's not at all done, but i wanted to get some feedback on the layout before contiuing with it.
I hope you all have fun testing it and i appreciate your help :D

(I don't know what's the best way to share the maps. If someone has some tips on this subject it would be helpful.)

Not something I would enjoy playing on. It's too small, and too narrow, which limits the effective weapons to shotgun and maybe AR. Good start to mapping I suppose. I think even if this is opened up more it's not something I would like. The hay-bale side was kind-of cool though, if I'm being honest.

Thank you for your reply.
I'll try to open it up a little and finish the textures at least.

Opened it up quite a bit. The mid lane is broader now. It should be easier to effectively use more weapons. Got the whole map textured. Didn't add mapmodels though.

Hope you enjoy it a little more.

Strange... It's working for me.
I tried a different service:

You need to find somewhere better to upload your files to. I downloaded that and it is an .exe file and 5-6 times larger than a normal map. Not messing with that. I don't know what you should use, it's been years since I uploaded anything like this, and the servers I used to use are no longer free. Try asking around or post a thread in "Help"
edit: maybe try this one:

There is no .exe there, you might need to fix your setup.
The link works just fine:

Good thing to know it's working for others as well. I'll try 4shared though. Thanks for the research there!
Iguana did you test the map? I'd appreciate your feedback :D
I'm working on a bigger map now, but since the tests are quite hard in physics i don't take too much time there. :D
Hope i will be able to contribute to this wonderful project later!

There is nothing wrong with my "setup". This link tries to download an installer. Whether it works the same for you or not has nothing to do with me.

I like it much better. Tried figuring out how to get into the area with the windows and was pleasantly surprised that it's not possible. I like that. Yeah, I think it's a good effort. Small, but I like it
