Weapons problem

Hello, I have a problem with AC weapons, Does someone know how can I improve the details of the weapons?
Sometimes I download a skin of some weapon and when I use it in game the details of the weapon are not good, for example:

Just curious, Do you have other versions of AC on your PC?
Maybe from an older version? idk, did the resolution possibilities change between versions?

The only thing I could think off would be this:

There are two different models for each weapon. One for the HUD, which is more detailed and has a higher resolution texture (skin) and one that is for the WORLD (the guns the other players are carying in their hands), which has a lower resolution texture.

You probably have confused those two and now the low resolution texture is applied to the HUD gun. In case you can't figure out this yourself please just post the link to the akimbo page where you got the download.

Well, I guess you've downloaded the preview instead of the actual picture. You probably did right-clicking and save-picture on that small link-preview.
