Well done Andrez, but i'd like to add something special here.
All know that Rome is a good place to visit thanks the monuments of ancient Rome and it's one (and maybe the most) visited place in Italy. So I'm glad to offer you all sentences you need to comunicate wirh Romans.
The main essensial Roman (IT) vocabulary
Insults
L'anima de li mortacci tua = this sentence is an insult to the dead members of the family of your interlocutor
Plural: Li mortacci vostra!
L'anima de li mejo mortacci tua = straight form of the sentence before
For more info: Click here
Sex (how to approach a girl from Rome)
A meravijosa! = Hey beatiful
Si t'acchiappo te faccio un bucio... = If i catch you I'll make your back... (big implied)
Food
Oste vojo magnà e beve!= Innkeeper i want eat and drink
I suggest you to liste this typical Roman song
Weed
Sto intoppato = I'm stoned
Greetings
Aò = Hello
Prevent people to talk to you (usefull with annoying seller, tramps etc)
Cazzo voi? = What do you want?
Nun t'accollà = Don't talk/speak/watch/do anything to me
Well that's all.
P.s i suggest to watch comedy Films with: Christian De Sica and Enzo Salvi.
Be a Roman.

Noob remains noob, but the italian form would be 'niubbo', although it's rarely used.
