Negative nades? Demo glitch or hack?

Hi all,
I was going through my server demos that i downloaded to see if there were any hackers while I was offline and I found a person going into negatives with his grenades on LSS. I then realized that I had some other people doing this, some in later demos. You can view a demo at http://farshotclan.webs.com/blacklist/20....50.49.dmo. Watch lolbAN and BeastMaster|BR| . I can post some other demos of a few other people doing this.

Is this a glitch in 1.0.4 or an actual hack? Sorry if this is a really dumb question.

I've noticed the same thing with ammo in demos. I've assumed it's just a glitch when switching between players or something.

well i am no expert but i saw it in #M|A# tay before, maybe a week ago anyway i assume hes not a hacker i also saw it on millertime once, i know hes not a hacker, i play with him all the time, so i am sure its a bug

@Orynge: I don't think it's ever an indication of cheating. How and why would their ammo show a negative value due to a cheat?

yea...anyway why would that show up on a demo and something like a "see threw walls" not?

You wouldn't see a wallhack on a demo because wallhacks are a client-sided hack, being it is undetectable by a server. Hence, like Brahma said, wallhacks are virtually impossible to detect.
