Exdous servers upgrading from 16 to 18 - DeafieGamer - 06 Aug 12
Exdous servers is now "on much better one: more powerful hardware (CPU/RAM) and better bandwidth (we were on 10mbit back then, while now we're on 100mbit). "
Right now experiment is taking place:
BEFORE
16 players x 2 servers
AFTER
18 players x 3 servers (new server will have TDM/DM maprot )
Third server maprot is still in progress.

Test for max headroom, go for 60 players over 3 servers (20 each)
Good on you for upgrading. More servers the better.

Stop it, sooner or later you're basically gonna be co-CBL admin (No one is gonna like that), and look at me, I don't ask for admin at all when I deserve it.

@ Blueberry, he's just an admin, but he's the only one I ever see (let's just say the servers attract a wild bunch), so I give him the GJ on the server owners' behalf.

Ya bugboy is pretty much the link between us and the AC community, he's very active and I always listen to his suggestions.
He's "just" an admin on ExodusCommunity, but as all our other admins he can make proposals for changes and additions.
The plan is to get back to 20 players on each server. Our new hardware can run pretty much anything now, as we're on a quad-core with much better specs than before.
He suggested to try 18 first to see if it would run fine. If it does, we'll change that to 20.
