Looking for team! (Competitive) - btraill - 08 May 12
Just got back into AC!
My name is Brad and I'm 20 years old. I currently reside in Ontario, Canada.
I've played CS 1.6 from CAL Open to CAL Main, from CEVO-A to CEVO-Main and I've strat called through various seasons. I've also attended major LAN's for multiple games. (Team Fortress Classic, CS 1.6, CSS, CoD4, etc)
I'm an extremely competitive player, my in-game know-how and intellect is that way above the average/normal player.
What I'm looking for:
A MATURE and ACTIVE clan/community.
I come with money! (For servers, teamspeak, ventrilo, etc) :)

There are a few clans on the scene that fit the competitive side.
BoB, LC, MyS, oNe, w00p, dR (just the first 5 i could think of, no offense meant to anybody).
Being from canada, you might appreciate people with similar timezones. Most of those clans are heavily european.

good luck, most clans in your timezone suck.
be aware that being good at CS wont make you instantly amazing at AC, this also applies in reverse

I'd suggest you hang out on IRC or somewhere while you are playing AC to look for inters. This will get you associated with different clans and players, and help you figure out who you might want to join. The clan that you might want to join might not make an offer here, but still be recruiting.

That will get you into the channel.
acinter is a service that some people use to advertise for interclan matches when they need an extra player or whatnot. Also pay attention to people in pubs asking for inters, and you can join in on those.

I remember testing you when you applied for BC a while ago, we had quite a lot fun and you were on the right track but then went inactive.

Most clans these days aren't active thanks to finishing up school/taking important tests/raging at the lack of new release, etc. Hopefully this will pick up in the next month or so.
Are you the kind of person who needs to be with other great players just to dominate most other clans, or a player who can join a 2nd tier clan and push them to the top?

We don't really need your money (unless you plan on sponsoring us all individually and buying us all nice new GPU's - that's cool with us), but the thought will obviously be appreciated for other teams that may be interested in you. We have match servers in the UK, Germany & soon NY & Cali. A stable team, this is the 4th year we've appeared in AC. 09' / '10 / '11 / '12. We've won 3 competitions since our inception, come second in the most recent Premiere League and second in the same tournament we came first in also! Instead of getting overwhelmed by all these guys ^^, you should instead check out the LoRC (List of Recruiting Clans) and visit whichever ones seem interesting to you on your own terms.
