Cube Engine put to good use?

Recently While browsing Qaudropolis by pure accident I found a mod. It was labeled something skins for "Red Eclipse". I decided to check out screen shots and it looks sick. I look forward to playing the time trial thang. But is it worth downloading ? Also could anyone tell me the spec's I need to run it.

actually it´s the Cube 2 engine (sauerbraten) and it´s not a mod, it´s an own game like AssaultCube using an established engine
