Yes, I want to know whats your favorite action game, and WHY! No AC cause its so awesome it would beat all competitors...
Mine Is... ARE:
Dead Space: They did what Resident Evil 5 should have. And its AWESOME!
Half-Life 1 : WOW, I didnt know it was THAT creepy until I played it!

I don't play many FPS's really, but from the handful I would say Black Ops (which is not saying much, plus I don't even have an Xbox).

- 007 Nightfire, my first FPS :D
- GTA San Andreas (lots better than GTA IV imo, nice story, map and soundtrack)

Goldeneye 007 for 64, it was amazing back in the day. and still be
Perfect Dark, i love you Rare™ (before Microsoft owned it, /sadface)
Nowadays BBC2 cause it fits with what i expect of a fps.

BZFlag because of the short description (a free online multiplayer cross-platform open source 3D tank battle game), unique/diverse gameplay and the simple graphics that don't get in the way. :)

Applecake, I recently downloaded it and tried it out. Didn't hate it, but it wasn't very intuitive. I guess I ought to read about how to play.

IKARUGA!, metal slug series, Guilty Gear Xseries, forza 3, super smash melee, Halo2, Silent Hill 8, Fallout 3, Castlevania, JET FORCE GEMINI, megaman zero, echo the dolphin, Resident Evil (1remake, 0, 2, 4, and 5), starfox64/roguesquadronII-III, assassins creed, Devil May Cry, need for speed(2010), Pikmin, Geometry Wars(omg geometry wars)
v-man: i was obsessed with Mechwarrior 3, and MechWarrior 4: Mercenaries is even better.
Lantry: timesplitters 2 and 3 have eaten hundreds of hours my time. Addicting as ****
dead space, portal, and perfect dark deserve honorable mentions.

BF2!
I've had so many funny moments, and fucking good teamplay when I play this together with a friend :D I just love it.
For example, when we both have a tank, and kickin everyones asses >D
Or he's a sniper, I'm a Assault/medic, he's sniping everyone, and Im protecting him :D
Halo 2/3, I had some hilarious moments with the naillauncher + teabagging.
The metroid series are also one of my favourite action games.
And my last game: Penumbra: Black plaque. I don't now if it counts, but it's so freaking creepy, I can't even play it in a rosa-room with pink horses, while listening to a song made for 4 years old :s
