Cannot play map in multiplayer
#1
I have recently created a map which does not work in multiplayer.
I keep receiving a message that it does not fulfill quality requisites required for multiplayer mode. The problem is, I cannot find the problem that's causing it. I've made sure all entities are spaced out and everything else I need to do. Could someone help me please?

Please type "/showmapstats" and tell me what you see!

Someone should edit this post and add "/showmapstats" & "/entstats".

I had the same problem and it fixed when I added some solids to my map.

/entstats:

1 helmet
1 armour
33 mapmodels, 33 clipped
2 ladders
2 flags: 1 RVSF and 1 CLA
Total entities: 92

/showmapstats

mean height: 75.22
height check: 672 659
max area: 6587 of 13 976

I'm not sure what is wrong with my map

That's well over the limit, which I think is 30. Basically, your ceilings are way too high.

EDIT: Get ninja'd, Exoduss. /:D

75.22 > 30

I bet for an outside themed map with buildings.

I just used the TwinTowers map as a template. How is it that I can't load a map greater than 30 cubes if TwinTowers is played all the time?

P.S, is this why I never see any headshotcity games anymore?

I don't play on the maps, but those maps are either taking advantage of a glitch or they're taking advantage of it being an average height rather than there being a limit.

You can have, just delete Brahma's code ...

Those maps are abusing a mapping feature that the map check overlooks.
