Making a server

When i try and make a server, it tell me: something about failing to connect to server because pinging failed. I have the windows xp firewall but even when i turn it off it still happens. I do not have any other av software.

logging local AssaultCube server (version 1101, protocol 1130/104) now..

read 0 admin passwords from 'config\serverpwd.cfg'
read 0 (0) blacklist entries from 'config\serverblacklist.cfg', 0 errors

When i run the wizard, it asks for a port. wut # should i use? BTW i forwarded the required ports.

By the way, note that the docs are your friend!

I have read the docs and it told me to use 28763. I tried it but i still get the same error.

I just forwarded the 28763 port again and now it says master server registration succeeded. Nothing comes up after that. What does it mean?

It means it works! People can see the server in the server list now. Though you would need to forward 28763 and 28764 but if it works now, whatever.
