Hey guys,
I'm trying to replace some of the weapon sounds on AC, however I'm having a few problems. I've just been downloading the sounds and putting them into the sound folder overwriting the old ones (I don't know if this is the best way to do it) but whenever I go in-game, while the sounds now work with the weapons, the sound is always played as if the weapon is right next to me, regardless if it is in the distance. This screws with my gameplay as I can't tell if someone is shooting from far away or right next to me.
Essentially, when the default sounds would sound in the distance normally, I can't get that to happen with custom sounds.
Anyone know what I'm talking about?
