Kirin, I would try to run a blur on top of just the lettering (excluding the white "halo"). I'm just guessing that would make it look better. You could also try making it a motion blur :O (Including the white "halo").
I dont know what your process was so I'm not sure how easy it would be.
I would try, but I dont currently have much inspiration :P
