He's right, that's why only a limited amount of F2P games will live on. Games like Blacklight: Retribution and any other F2P multiplayer game with a full-time dev team will have to shut the servers down if they don't get enough money. F2P will most likely live on, we just won't be seeing many games in the future. League and DotA 2 are most likely safe for at least another few years, TF2 as well, and maybe WoT and a few others that have a large, active, vibrant community. The rest are fighting for scraps until they die.
