GIF start screen

Hi guys,
I know thats it's easily possible to change and edit your AC start screen, but is it possible to have a .gif image instead of .jpg. GIF allows you to add animation, which I look to do but not sure if it's even possible in the first place.
Please let me know about it.

The game does not support the .gif format IIRC.
But you can still have some equivalents as it supports .png format and can rotate/translate images.

So thats means it should be possible to add little loading circle at a corner of the screen.... YES ?
Also I had this idea:
Show different hints at the start screen, different hits every time.... would that be possible ?
