AssaultCube developers ARE lucky, because there are lots of maps, many of them really good... and lots of authors of these maps. Most of them would love their map made official. This leaves us developers with too much choice. We're kids in a candy store. Please help us? ;-)

In this thread, you post YOUR map (i.e. only authors can suggest their own maps to be made official, because they have to agree to the T&C's below). All maps will be put into a poll later for the public to vote upon. The most voted for maps will be looked at by the developers first and we'll then decide whether or not to add the map to the package.

NOTE: All maps already posted in this thread, will be included in every round of voting from here on out.

IMPORTANT:

By submitting a post below, you accept that ALL AUTHORS OF THE MAP AGREE to AC's terms and conditions for accepting your map into the package (see below). These T&C's relinquish some rights, so please read carefully.

IMPORTANT #2:

You must have ensured that any new custom media has the correct licenses supplied with it (if not, go get them - note: if the licenses are unsuitable for AssaultCube, we may decline your entry).

You need to post the following (all fields required):

1. Map name.
2. Author(s).
3. Do you have flag bases?
4. A non-expiring (i.e. no mediafire links, something permanent-ish) link to the newest version of your map.
5. Screenshot(s).
6. Your contact details (... or just tell us that we can email you, using the same email address you have registered on this forum, by writing "Forum email").
7. License for your map (as an example, see the next post for what I use for my maps).

AssaultCube's T&C's for accepting your map (as of 22/10/2012):

• You agree that AssaultCube may add all data for your map into the AssaultCube package and can redistribute it according to these terms and conditions, plus the terms and conditions listed in your map license.
• You agree, that where your map license conflicts with these terms and conditions, these terms and conditions will override those of your map license.
• You agree that once your map is accepted, it may not be removed from the AssaultCube package unless we decide so.
• You agree that we may allow you to make modifications to your map upon request, however this is at our own discretion and if we feel the change will adversely affect the game in any way, we may decline.
• You agree that we may make minor modifications to your map where required. We agree that we will only do this to fix bugs and/or errors and/or implement new game features. Please note, our policy is not to make any big changes that would affect the look/feel/gameplay of the map without prior consent, so should a game feature be added, we will attempt to contact you, to get you to add the feature to the map first, before adding it on our own.
• You agree that we may modify your "mapmsg" to be more appropriate where required, example: removal of colourised map messages.

Short description:
Small and simple map with the watchtower in the middle of the prison yard that is enclosed by the high walls of the surrounding buildings. Suited for fast gameplay and head to head combat. Although it has flag bases it's designed for modes such as DM and OSOK with limited number of players (not more than 8).

ac_brick, i think AC needs next arena style map as ac_douze :DD gameplay is focused on ts, tosok, tdm, ktf for 2v2, i created map for AC map competition (i think that complex one ;)), so it wasn't so drunk creating :D

Modifications: you can do whatever, only don't hate original creator during modifications, my map is innocent for me :D
