We're all going to go to AC: COD Edition if it doesn't release soon.

Lol, I believe if you let them take their time instead of putting pressure on the devs you will have the new release in a lot better quality with less glitches :)

As do I.

All of Vern's threads are god-tier, so it deserves to be spammed to death.

Have a look at BRINK.
Everyone hassled the titties off Bethesda to hurry up and finnish it.
Then when they released it, it was the biggest over-hyped-crock-of-unfinnished-gash ever released. IMO.

As much as i would like the next release, I dont want AC to go that way.. An unfinnished game.

Skyrim is even a better example. The game even now is still broken for most PS3 players, there are quest line breaks that can occur which break the game at times, and the emergency patch they came up with to appease those who bought the game at release made dragons fly backwards...

Not that it is an excuse, but this is pretty much expected from Bethesda.

As for AC, I can wait. I'm not overly interested in a new version anyway. I only have 2 complaints about the current one.. and neither involve gun balance.

Yeah, we don't need any Fins in AC. Go back to Finlandia.

Get it? Un-Finnish-ed?

Y U NO WAIT!
This threads request is a paradox (which I've been reading about all day)
Because the following statements are true:
1. Everyone wants it to be here quicker
2. Everyone wants it to be good and without errors.
It is a paradox because you cannot have both at the same time as the beta needs more testing and development and to have it done in less time would mean errors would be present.

Lots of things but some notables.

1) Hit registration fix. No more bullets being dropped.
2) speedhax during mapping.
3) PM system. Might be just for people in the game you're in(have to put client number), not 100% sure.
But still. /pm 4 fuuuuuuu <-- awesome
4) Three new maps. ac_stellar, ac_edifice, ac_industrial. All nice maps. A couple kill your fps pretty badly in plenty of areas, which is just poor caring about the engine while mapping. But not as bad as things like rattrap/power/werk which cut my fps by 80%.
5) Weapon balance, getting a little more improved.

@ #1 : The reason of the rush, is a lot of us think the current svn would be a sexy release, despite the carbine still not being the 50 damage & pierce through armor gun that Nightmare we all want it to be.

@ #2 :

Pizza_Sauce Wrote:And when the only "error" is anti-cheat, all they have to do is rip it completely from the game and lag is fixed/good people don't get autokicked. It's unfixable with the current resources.

yes, all of that :D

As for the anti-cheat, can't server owners already decide if they want anti-cheat on or off?

EDIT: I found the reason the next version is being delayed so long!
