RE: [Mapmodel ]GAS Canister
Looks nice indeed. Though aren't those a little huge considering a 20 l canister is as huge as a, lets say 200 l barrel? I guess you could downscale them to about 1/3 of current size. Give it a try, the texture will look more sharpen then too, btw.

RE: [Mapmodel ]GAS Canister
Mr.Floppy, may be you are right. Look at screen - staying model has a mdlscale 45 and fallen one has a mdlscale 60 (original)

As for sharpner texture - i can sarp it in psd source file.
As for sizes - barrels near looks too small, imho :) aha

RE: [Mapmodel ]GAS Canister
Nice model !
You are both right, the original GAS canister (first pic) is a bit too big compared to AC barrel, but in the same time the barrel is somehow small ;)
I prefere the mdlscale 45, looks more realistic

RE: [Mapmodel] GAS Canister
Actually I was guided by the size of a car wheel :)
Сompared with the wheel the barrel is too small, and the canister is normal (even with mdlscale 60 imho)
So, i made they both with mdlscale 50

RE: [Mapmodels] GAS Canister
Good point.
The barrels should be like waist height.
Depending on what kind of tire it is i would say it should be like knee height tops.

Look at this
mdlscale 50
It seems, that it is the truck weel, and trashbag a little strange too big :)

mdlscale 30
Canister looks normal

RE: [Mapmodels] GAS Canister
I always though about the barrel being just slightly too small, trash bag slightly too big, while I'm at converting them onto md3 I might as well fix that if you devs fancy.
Like barrel scale 1.1 and trash bag scale 0.9 should do the trick.

EDIT: on second though it might screw up some maps.

"The trash bag looks alright to me."

For me to, BUT ONLY when trashbag(s) is alone on the map or rounded with smaller models like cigarettes, coffecups etc

Little offtop
Yet it is not convenient to talk in two forums at the same time :)

RE: [Mapmodels] GAS Canister
A wheel with a tyre that thick, and an alloy like that is bound to be a lorry tyre, so size may be alright, (although not thick enough then. ;) Lol!)
