Actually you'll have flags to click on redirecting you to the "AKIMBO Rules and Packaging" in your language, the global remains in English.

@.ExodusS* Dans ce cas, je part du bas ce sera plus simple. :D

AKIMBO is recruiting Captains (moderators), tasks awaiting the courageous ones (you do not need to do the whole lot, just some of it will suffice):

_ Check posts on forum and vault for errors like oversized screenshots, dodgy links, wrong packaging.
_ Warn users when they went wrong and explain why, fix the above for newcomers.
_ Test out all newly material posted and efficiently comment on them (Mr.Floppy's posts are top notch examples).
_ Report blacklisted members.
_ Reply to questions, request and technical advices from members.

For those willing to help or for more informations please pm me here or contact me on AKIMBO's irc.

NB:Needless to mention that AKIMBO Captains status will only be granted to highly trusted members of the community.

Indeed, when people use the forum new materials are better noticed and thus more downloaded, obviously.

To every one out there AKIMBO is looking for objective map testers.

Recruits don't particularly need to be famous mappers but will obviously have a great understanding of the subject and be able to comment in a constructive way, so far Mr.Floppy is whom one should take example from.

No need to mention that only trusted members of the community will be selected.

Those interested can send me a PM either here or on AKIMBO.

Thanks in advance for your involvement.

In the meantime let us introduce our new banner...

We are still looking for people feeling like being useful to the community, we need maps testers (still).

More particularly we also are after people willing to help with a wonderful project proposed by the devs which will in the future enable players to directly download missing custom content from AKIMBO like most online games, for more infos please read this thread

Thanks in advance.

The image itself isn't bad, but it stretches all the pages for me (and I imagine others)

Maybe use percentages, min-width and/or max-width in CSS?

As you know, I have been thinking about this. I was thinking about roughing up a django application sometime.

Feel free to help in anyway you can mate. ;)

Also, following Lantry's uber cool mod "The Armory" a new section on AKIMBO is born and is called... "The Armory" XD

It has been created to differentiate weapon mods from all the other mods so from now on you can use this section for any new weapon mods you have to offer or if you are looking for a weapon replacement.

For those adding new material, to make it easier for other users to find what they are looking for please add in your title what sort of weapon it is supposed to replace ie: Shotgun Mod, Sniper Mod aso..

EDIT: I am transferring the files right now so expect some little waiting time before it's all done.

Thanks for the announcement. I guess I was very misinformed :S

Instead of using sizes like: "length: 1000 pixel"
Use "length: 100 percent"

Basic HMTL :D

In fact, the basic HTML require to write so
width: 1200px;
;D

Although, as for me — there is a little too big banner size (1200x300)
I would have made the banner size smaller, approximately 960x240 or 100x250 px and flexible header section.

line 126:
<a href="{U_INDEX}" title="{L_INDEX}" id="logo"><img src="http://img15.imageshack.us/img15/2792/akimbonewbanner.jpg" alt="" border="0" /></a>
should be:
<a href="{U_INDEX}" title="{L_INDEX}" id="logo"><img src="http://img15.imageshack.us/img15/2792/akimbonewbanner.jpg" alt="" border="0" width="100%" /></a>
However, I don't know much about web design and I would imagine this will cause it to look stretched/pixelated for most people.

This width="100%" is incorrect for html tag <img ... />

More correct should be
<img src="http://img15.imageshack.us/img15/2792/akimbonewbanner.jpg" alt="" border="0" style="width:100%; height: auto;" />
but im not shure if this solution will work correctly

Really I would never have a banner over 1024 width...
I'll be able to look at it later though for a fix.

(24 Jan 12, 11:39PM)FANTOMAS.UA Wrote: This width="100%" is incorrect for html tag <img ... />

<img src="image.gif" alt="alternate text" height="42" width="42" />
This works fine, although yeah I would personally use styles myself. To be correct just make sure you specify both dimensions attributes.

Edit: Okay definitely styles :P
Although the best solution yet is to simply downsize the massive image. (either way you'd have to download the original size)
